Gold Coast is by far the best ticket service to do business with in the city of Chicago. They are straight shooters and will explain to you if there is or isn't a market for the tickets you are looking to buy or sell. As a buyer, I have always been able to get exactly what I am looking for - if the tickets are available. As a seller, when there has been a market for my tickets, Gold Coast has always given me a fair price for my tickets - often considerably more than what other brokers would pay me. For those who are complaining about the cost of the ticket/s you purchased compared to the face value, let me help you get clued in. A) You are using a ticket service that clearly states the cost of the ticket may be higher than face value and B) Gold Coast has NEVER forced anyone to purchase a ticket from them. Sometimes extra fees are tacked on because you are not purchasing tickets from Gold Coast directly and they are getting them from a 3rd party for you. Always make sure to ask if there are any service fees, taxes, delivery charges, etc. if you are unsure. I suggest you negotiate with them on a price for multiple tickets. If they have to acquire them from another source they probably won't cut you a deal but if there are many tickets available and they have them in hand they just may work with you. Also, as a loyal buyer and/or seller they treat you well. I highly recommend Gold Coast!
This company uses bait and switch tactics. I feel swindled by them. They presented as if I was buying tickets through a venue NOT a broker. It was purposely misleading. I will have my credit card company fight the charges. I urge you not to do business with them.
Excellent place to get tickets...fair prices and really nice people. They will go out of their way to find you the perfect seats for any event. I have used them for all kinds of concerts, plays, Cubs tickets, etc and they always manage to have available inventory at a decent price.
I work with several ticket brokers frequently but I have a few preferred brokers and Gold Coast Tickets is definitely one of them. Often the best pricing, good selection of available tickets and excellent customer service. 3rd party ticket sellers are plentiful on the internet so there are plenty of choices but there is a risk when u don't know who your dealing with and a lot can go wrong. Gold Coast Tickets has a proven track record of impeccable customer service and that has been my experience in all my dealings with them over the past 13 years.
