Y’all believe every horror story you’ve heard! They would get 0 “stars” if there was an option. Even though they advertise as 0 interest for 12 months, they still charge a percentage of your balance for borrowing money from them. The “0 interest” applies to delinquent payments. So, even though you’re paying on time they still charge simply for borrowing from them. Also, you can’t go into your account and make a payment the day of. They always schedule at least 3 days ahead! Note that they basically never want you to pay your balance off before time. I had a balance of about 200 and scheduled a payment to pay it all off and I noticed that they only took a portion. So, I went back in to pay of the remaining 50 or so left over. Again, I can’t pay it off day off and the earliest payment day is in 3 days so I choose that option. I noticed they didn’t charge my account and guess what? The remaining 50 is accruing interest! Mind you, I haven’t defaulted on paying. (Remember, they charge you for just using their services!!!) They didn’t complete my payment as scheduled. So now, I scheduled another payment because again I can’t pay it off day of. My payment is scheduled for Feb. 11 which is the earliest date possible. I’ll report back with any updates. Honestly, it doesn’t matter how broke or in need you are, there’s no way this greedy company can help your situation. They’ll just further put you in debt. It’s not worth it! Look elsewhere.

Absolute crooks! Andre and rosemary in the mitigation department are absolute liars and thieves. Called in months ago to make a settlement offer, was told it would take care of the balance and am continued to be harassed about a balance after I already paid what settlement agreement was offered! Worst company ever!
Very horrible company... I did a no interest 12 month furniture loan from them and after the 12 month they are still charging me and I’ve ended up paying more than I borrowed and still have a balance left that I supposedly owe to them... when I spoke to someone in customer service they said this was because 2 of my monthly payments was returned by my bank but this is a lie from them because the payments were taken out from my bank account and they were not returned to me like great American finance is claiming... to prove that they did take out the payments from my account I’ve had to forward my bank statements and transaction history via email to great America finance but I’m still yet to hear back from them... please stay away from this company they are a 100% fraudulent and are out to scam people out of there hard earned money
They have a lot of different programs available for customer credit. It was easy to set up auto pay and their customer service department gets 5 stars! Very Helpful!
I have had such a phenomenal experience with Great American Finance. It is amazing to see a company do so much to help their customers and go the distance to help when needed. Very happy!
