Raydine Vigil is extremely volatile and bipolar... I had been going to her for several years and one day she just snapped and I don't know why... She was halfway through cutting my daughters hair when she abruptly stopped and asked us to leave, mind you during the duration of the haircut no one was speaking, it was absolute silence, she is extremely rude, but I was used to it, but halfway through my daughters hair cut she stopped and said that she was not going to finish and asked us to "get out now"... I was baffled, had no idea where it came from cause no one said anything to her... she stated in front of my daughter "you are breeding insecurities in your daughter" again i had no idea where that came from because my daughter asked if she had layered her hair like we asked and i simply stated, "no, but she thinned it and it looks nice"... at that moment she snapped... she has horrible customer service and treated us like absolute garbage... i cannot believe that this is the same woman that had been doing my hair for the last two years. I also recommended her to a friend and when my friend went to her she said she treated her bad as well and never returned. Th whole situation baffles me because i have always made my appointment and she has always accepted and provided the service, she was never super friendly, she always seemed fake, but i just brushed it off... Do not go to her, she is horrible and disrespectful...Even if she felt a certain way, why did she feel the need to behave this way in front of my 9 year old daughter... I don't know why she continues to do business if she has such a poor attitude while doing it..

Raydine is seriously awesome. I had the best hair experience I've ever had, hands down. She has a lovely little room for herself, so you have her undivided attention. She's a very sweet person, and she really knows hair!!! She gave me a cute curly bob that I love. Also she's very reasonably priced. Whatever your hair type or needs, you can't go wrong with Raydine!
Ive been going to Raydine for all of my curly haircare needs (from cuts, blow outs, products, to color and advice!) for almost five years. She is a master at what she does, and she just keeps getting better. Every time I leave the salon I am amazed at how wonderful my hair looks. I had a very bad experience with a curly hair salon in Chicago, and was scared to try somebody new. Reluctantly, I made an appointment with Raydine for a consultation to see how I felt about it. I went in and she was outstanding! She didn’t try to push products, and made it very simple for me to understand how to go about taking care of my curls (3b). I needed a trim so I decided to give it a shot with her. Somehow she managed to fix my haircut and keep the exact same length. I absolutely loved her and her advise. I recommend Raydine 100% she is awesome with curly hair!!
Raydine is WONDERFUL. My daughter is biracial and we were having the hardest time with her hair. It’s beautiful and curly and soft, but it tangles so easily. Raydine sat her down and asked her all about her hair and made she she understood everything before she tried to give advice or cut. She worked wonders with her hair. It has changed our lives and we will go back to her for as long as we can.
Raydine is amazing! This is my second hair cut with her and she gave me a wonderful pixie aka crop cut (very short of the side and left length on the top), I have curly hair and she was able to give me exactly what I wanted. She listens and but gives you her honest opinion and as she said this is a no judgement zone, I instantly felt comfortable and at ease with her. If you looking for someone that knows her craft and willing to work with you until you are a very happy customer, go see her you will not regret it. Thank you.
