Home Inspector Consultants in Highland, IN shared excellent information during first telephone contact. The inspection was scheduled rapidly, the inspector explained thoroughly each item he checked, why, what was positive, and what future maintenance was advised. When an issue was noted, he went even deeper into the matter. I learned so much! I felt like I got my money's worth in education alone. The inspection report was thorough, professionally and expediently done, plus it came with a year-long home warranty. Great company to work with. Kudos to inspector Bill, who kept smiling in spite of my massive questions, each of which he thoroughly addressed. 5 stars PS - found 2 \faults\ with this 16-years young home, and saved me nearly 20K in repairs the sellers were willing to perform! :heart:

I used this company in July for a house I closed on in September. They missed so much: I had and still have water leaking from under the sink, lights that don't work, and even problems with my refrigerator that were overlooked. I tried to contact the company, but I have been blown off every time; they say they will get back to me but never do. They have warranties the come with their inspection, but when I tried to make a claim I cannot even talk to someone; nor have they ever got back to me even once. This company did a poor inspection, won't honor their word, and has blown me off multiple times. I cannot begin to express my disappointment for using them to make the biggest purchase of my life...
I am not satisfied with this company’s inspection. Jon was not thorough as I’ve heard from family members that other inspectors were for their homes. Thank God they give a warranty because I had to file a claim the first week I finally moved into my new home. My crawl space was not dry and waterproofed as Jon thought. Thankfully the money I was given back through the warranty felt like a refund for this inspection. Please choose someone else. My dad has also had to fix some plumbing issues. There was a check valve missing and was not up to code. I also recently found out that my AC unit was not charged and it needed Freon. I feel as though an inspector should be skillful enough to know these codes and check for those issues. All of the things they offer means nothing if the inspection is not done properly. For my next home I will just use someone else, or just take my own family that is knowledgeable about these things as well, and I advise you to do the same.
I was recommended to this company by a friend and I cannot day enough good things about them. Mike was my inspector for our property and he was wonderful. He was personable, informative and knowledgeable. He provided us with a very thorough and informative inspection. He answered every question that we had, and made us feel totally comfortable with the process. Mike made time for us the day that I scheduled an appointment and he sent me the report that evening. Wonderful customer service!
