Hopleaf is beyond a gem. This spot has hooked my heart and gullet since the first time my now wife took me here. Incredible food and one of the craziest beer lists you'll ever see. Things are a lil different these days due to covid and all but they are taking every step to provide a safe and comfortable experience.

Dine in or outside...plenty of space. The mussels are divine! Start with a salad and a drink. The servers are friendly and quite Covid conscious...a good thing! Reasonable prices for generous food portions. Oh, the mussels come with fries and a signature mayo...so tasty! If you haven't been to Hopleaf, you should hop on over soon!

The bartender, Slim, was positively amazing! Very hospitable and knowledgeable about the beer and liquor selection! He also dealt with us (3 less than sober women) very well, without any unease. We all had a great time!

If the weather is nice, definitely dine on the patio! Nice selection of comfort foods with a twist. I opted for the Duck Breast Reuben...a very good choice. House made sauerkraut, cranberry cream cheese, emmenthaler cheese on excellent marble rye with fries. But dessert was outstanding! Warm lemon thyme pound cake with lemon glaze and brown sugar vanilla mascarpone, with a blueberry compote! SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT! The location is a beautiful old world Belgian brewpub that’s worth exploring.

This is a wonderful place somewhat magical thanks to the decor. It def has its own distinguished flair.. Great selection of beer from Europe and really yummy food both snacks and mains. Highly recommend.

Really good! Our waitress, Lydia, really nice! We had both of their most popular recipes for mussels, and I could say both are as good as in Belgium. We had a great Spaniard rose wine. Highly recommendable place!

Finally made it to Hopleaf. I’ve known of it for years and it lived up to expectations. Outstanding beverage list heavy on Belgian ales, but full of all sorts of interesting finds. Rueben was outstanding. Fried in butter to a crisp. Shoe string onion rings piled high. I would recommend over otherwise good fries. Mussels over-cooked and a little dry, but served in excellent cooking broth and crusty bread. Ask for more to soak. Almost didn’t order dessert but the brownie with coffee ice cream was a highlight. Salad was tasty but very small. I guess this is not the kind of place you go to eat you veggies.
