New place on Clark, very friendly staff, delicious dumplings. I tried the borscht as well as the chicken dumplings and beef & pork dumplings, traditionally cooked (boiled). The pan fried were also delicious and the texture was slightly chewy. Both were good. Eat the beef & pork with the sour cream and parsley sauce. Completely delicious and served piping hot. I also tried 3 other dipping sauces (I sprang the 2 for extras). My favorite sauce was the non-traditional Roasted Vegetable Sesame (packed with flavor) and the traditional sour cream and parsley (best for the beef/pork). The borscht was delicious as well, although it needed salt in my opinion. Overall, I would return if I lived in Chicago to try the other preparations.

I really enjoyed this place. The food was delicious and similar to the type of dumplings I had in East Europe. The menu is simple but you can pick so many different sauces. The atmosphere is great as well. There was one person working there and she was super kind and helpful when I asked for recommendations.

Very lovely place! Preferred the boiled dumpling to the deep fried one, but both delicious. The soup is amazing, and staff is incredibly friendly! Interior is very comfortable, pretty, neat and tasteful. Definitely recommend!

Cosy home-like place. Pelmeni are smaller then traditional Russian ones, but they are good any way. Recommend sour cream parsley sauce with them. If you like nuts and honey Turkish baklava is a must have.

This was a great little gem in Lincoln Park! As a Ukrainian who has had many pelmeni (which are little dumplings) these were some of the best! They come in many varieties so there will be something for everyone in your group. The owner is also incredibly nice and hard working. If you are in the area and are looking for a unique and reasonably priced meal, this is the place for you.
