Sally is amazing! I came in after I had painted my house a color of white I didn't like-she immediately helped me by understanding and explaining why the shad of white I picked looked yellow. She gave me numerous options to fix it, stayed with me until I was finished, and was so patient as my 2 year old was not being helpful while we talked! She knows so much about colors and was super patient with all of my questions!

I went to JC Licht's for a couple of paint samples. The man who helped me was very helpful about the type of paint I was trying, but when I received the samples, they looked like they hadn't been mixed properly. The gold color paint had streaks of red in it, and the teal paint was just not mixed at all (see picture). I had to stir it up with a pencil since I wasn't even given stir sticks. I'm kind of annoyed, because I paid over 19 for these two samples. The least they could have done (in the 20 minutes I waited) was to shake the cans up.
The two different people we worked with during two separate visits were both condescending and rude. They were of zero help and didn't at all explain the process of matching paint colors. Furthermore, they failed to answer any question without condescension. Either go to the West Loop location or the one at Addison and the highway. It's worth going out of the way for better service.
Kenylata helps me with everything. I ask a million questions and she is so patient and helpful. Will only shop here because of the amazing service.
Place is good for pros but also will help a homeowner out with good advice.
