They have an elevator, if needed, but it's a bit of a drag having to walk up and across the rails to go westbound. Naturally, there's never a bathroom. But they do have machines to get ventra cards, or add money to an existing card. I always see someone in the booth that used to be for ticket sales, but what they do, I have no idea, unless it's simply to make sure people don't go through without paying.

Great views of Chicago's skyline, especially from the bridge across platforms. However, the neighborhood isn't exactly the safest, so use caution if you aren't familiar with the area, although you should be fine on the train and inside the station, just keep your eyes up and your phone down. Transit times to downtown are pretty short, at 15-20 minutes. But don't let the neighborhood scare you away because the skyline views are amazing and the transit is convenient and reliable.
