You will be hard pressed to find a more charming fast food restaurant in Chicago. Mel clearly puts a lot of work into his business and makes an effort to speak with his regulars. The food is not only good but it is also cheap speedy. The only Down fall of Little Mel's is that it's not open on Sundays. God love you Mel!

The year is 2020 and this is the one of the last relics left in Chicago where you can get two Chicago dogs with fries and a drink for 5. Love this place with all my heart and hope Little Mel’s is around for another 50 years.
My favorite place the food is amazing.
This place has been here a long time and the food is still as good as ever. A bit small to dine in but there are tables here. Menu is mostly the usual burger joint stuff but it's all very good. Fries are nice and crispy, good size burgers, gyros and pizza puffs. All at reasonable prices too. Definitely awesome for a quick bite to eat.
Been here since I was a kid. Friendly, delicious, and quick service! Cheap as well. I forgot that. Owner is super friendly and he always remembers everyone. His loyal customers. Please visit. Great specials.
