This review is exactly 1 year late (7.13.2019), how embarrassing! Bethany and her co-photographer Jon were beyond amazing and did an incredible job capturing our wedding day and it's essence! We also had a fantastic time during our Engagement photo shoot! Not only is Bethany a seriously talented photographer but a kind soul and wonderful human being. From the first day we met her she was warm, down to earth and knowledgeable, making us feel right at ease! As soon as we left our initial consultation meeting, my husband and I knew we wanted Bethany to photograph our wedding! We are not photogenic by any means, but she made us look pretty darn good! During the engagement photo shoot and on the day of the wedding, she helped us be relaxed, ourselves and helped the photos capture 'us.' We cannot thank her enough for her attention to detail, patience, also working with our team of vendors, taking charge when needed and without being asked, providing direction and dealing with our large family and 200 guests! Thank you, Bethany! We cannot recommend Bethany and Maypole Studios enough!
Bethany is THE BEST!!! I'd give her thousand stars if I could. Photography was the most important part of my wedding planning, so I spent weeks/months searching for the perfect photographer for us and she was the one! I loved her style because she well captured candid moments and not too posed, colors were beautiful, and loved journalistic approach. I worried about feeling awkward in front of camera before our engagement photoshoot, and I honestly don't know how hours went by. Bethany made us feel so comfortable, and we just had so much fun!! When we got our engagement photos, I looked at them million times. I LOVED every one of them. We really looked forward to seeing Bethany at our wedding :) We had outdoor wedding and it rained unexpectedly. We were a little lost since we imagined all of our photos being taken outside. Bethany led our way and we just had a great time! She made us feel like us and captured everything so beautifully. Not only she's super talented photographer, she's just so fun to hangout with. I cannot thank her enough for amazing work, and I'd highly recommend her to everyone! I can't wait to see our wedding photos!! :P
My daughter's wedding pictures are incredible! Bethany clearly loves what she does and it comes through in every picture she takes. She is so good at catching a moment, a feeling, a laugh, a look.......! Both biographical and choreographed pictures are amazing. Bethany is fun, pleasant and enjoys what she is doing which made even the most camera shy guests feel comfortable.
