Dr McMahan is the best Doctor I’ve ever had. Always works hard to get the right diagnosis and Always offers a treatment that cures. I have chronic and difficult sinus, immune and allergy issues and seeing him always works miracles. He also includes other specialists when appropriate. I have sent 6 colleagues to him who reported back how grateful they are to him. Honestly, I cannot leave Chicago because I cannot go without his caring expertise.

If you don't read my whole review read this: the last time I called this doctor's office about a week ago I was told that Dr McMahan has relocated to Florida and the practice is permanently closing. The man on the phone that I spoke to - who only picked up after the fourth attempt at making the call - seemed rather flustered and said that they only found out a week ago and a few people had already been laid off. So, yea, don't go here. He gone. Anyway, if you need more reasons why to avoid this place, here's what I'm dealing with. I saw Dr. McMahan only once, in May. It's now November, 6 months later. I went in for snoring so he tested me for allergies and suggested I get a sleep study. He also said that I had a small sinus infection. So he prescribed me with a bunch of medicines for the sinus infection and then a whole bunch more for the allergies (that he didn't yet know that I had but thought that I should start the medicine right away anyway). turns out I did not have any allergies so I wasted a bunch of money on all those medicines I had the sleep study a couple of months later and never heard anything back from the doctor on the results. It's now been four months since I've had the sleep study and I have called the office numerous times and keep getting told that someone will give me a call back. It's a joke. And I'm now getting bills for the sleep study which I have no idea what the results were. And, as I mentioned before, to top it all off, the practice is closing. So six months of my life wasted on this guy.

Had ear pressure from a dive and went to Dr. McMahan. Overall would not recommend the doctor for poor follow-through of my treatment plan. Resolution was to take some antibiotics - but they never submitted the prescription to CVS. It was clear during my visit that the front desk / administration is a little disorganized. Then I got a marketing email about a ew hearing aid technology\ that they wanted to tell me about \based on your previous visits.\ I'm 25 and scored perfectly on the hearing test. Luckily my insurance covered everything, but agree with other reviewers that I didn't really understand the purpose of everything billed/examined.

Would not recommend this doctor's office for a consultation. They moved me quickly within room to room for exams that I didn't need nor requested. This is a great place if you're into running up a huge tab.

DO NOT COME HERE. They will make you get services for no reason. I came with a cold and they made me do TWO CT Scans (each were 1000) I asked for an estimate of the cost and the reception said oh you have the PPO plan, it will not be that much. I ended up paying 500 out of pocket (I was 80% covered and have met deductible). The medicine I was prescribed was just normal antibiotics. Could have gotten the same treatment from a minute clinic at Target/Walgreens/CVS. Also the billing department people are very rude and will not explain the bill to you or work with you. I had called many time trying to get clarifications with no result and they sent my medical bill to collections and did not bother responding to my questions. I will never return here
