One of 2 passenger airports in the Chicago area and it is the smaller of the 2. I like it because it’s more in “the neighborhood and closer to my family PLUSSSSSSSSSS the flights tend to be cheaper flying into and out of Midway. Lots of eateries and mini-stores to get nice tokens albeit souvenirs or whatever tickles your fancy. Once again, it has the U-shape of most modern airports; which makes entering and exiting all the easier. Loved seeing Chicago Police on duty and in place because as I was exiting, I saw “a sight” taking place, hope everything worked out for the individual.

Don’t make the mistake of accidentally missing the departure lane upon arrival. If so, you’ll have to drive through the hourly parking garage to exit. Unfortunately, we were greeted by an unprofessional employee at the ticket booth who demanded a parking fee even after I explained my situation. She didn’t hesitate to call security too. Thankfully, her manager responded and let me exit without paying a fee. I solely choose Midway for the experience and I will no longer be a patron of their unethical cash grab business.

As of 9-13-2020 lots of resturants are still closed. Hard to keep distance. Most wear masks now but didn't see any enforcement of policy outside of lots of signage. Clean very clean. Will pass through again.

A clean airport with tons of good food. The Breakfast sandwich are awesome, with a croissant, with bacon and eggs. The flights were clean and relaxing. The food might be a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Highly recommend it.

Excellent facilities and very easy check in for departures. Upon arrival staff were very friendly Well situated airport with easy access from various routes. Airport roadways are simple to navigate with excellent signage. Pick up and drop off are at various locations around the terminal, the free drop off is especially good, ample parking, suitcase trolleys available too, and just a five minute walk away from the terminal building.
