I am a former employee and I held the position of Residential Legal Advocate. I was assigned to work at the Shelter and twice a week I worked at the Domestic Violence Courthouse. My job was awesome, it allowed me to provide direct service to survivors of domestic violence through domestic violence counseling and legal advocacy and to empower the survivors to overcome the stigma surrounding domestic violence. I greatly appreciate the experience afforded to me by the Agency and will remember the kindness and warmth I felt while being employed at Neopolitan Lighthouse. Management and Staff are the Best and I thank you all for helping me to develop in the field of Social Work and Legal Advocacy.

I worked as the Provision Coordinator at Neopolitan Lighthouse for the past 5 years. It was a great learning experience. I am the only person who held this position. I had the opportunity to gain experience in a lot of different areas of social work, from grant writing to counseling clients to working with other service providers. It was really rewarding being able to work with the clients and help them to overcome their trauma. And the staff are very close-knit, which made Neopolitan feel like my home away from home. My experience at Neopolitan Lighthouse helped me to grow as a professional in the social work field in more ways than I could have ever imagined. Overall, I'd say that choosing to work at Neopolitan was one of the best decisions I could have made.
I formally held the position of Client Support Staff for over 3 years. My experience was great, I was able to work with great coworkers. We worked as a team and was always supportive of each other. The Directors of the Agency always had an open door policy to welcome staff and clients to come and talk about any concerns. When speaking with Management their approach was always respectful, kind and sincere. I greatly appreciate being able to help the clients regain their independence through counseling other related referrals. I wish all the best for this Agency because the Founder and Directors have done such a phenomenal job with creating a safe environment for victims of Domestic Violence and providing educational and economic assistance to their clients in order to secure a stable environment for their future.
This place is horrible I’m glad it burned down they need a whole new staff they are messy and offer no help
