My grandparents first took me here when I was a teenager and I've been back many times since. This is the best collection of pre-Islamic Middle Eastern artifacts in the Western Hemisphere.
Amazing experience. Went there on a field trip in elementary school and have spent the rest of my life trying to find an excuse to go back to Chicago- just so I can give this museum a visit again. It’s a must-see if you’re visiting Chicago.
A nice place for families with kids and friends to visit, many unique things to see, you have to be prepared for this because it may takes you about 3 hours to see everything, if all sites are open for public. Try to visit during the week days in summer or so you can park easily close by.
