Overall a very good meal and great atmosphere. Very chill place with friendly and helpful staff. Feels like you are indeed in an old English pub. We had several dishes with the marrow and scallops both being among my favorites. The pasty was also very good, the chutney had a great flavor. The burger was very good but slightly too much onion for me. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun new place to try.

Owen & Engine has the most delicious offerings on their menu! Every dish has its unique flavor profiles and never disappoints. The Bone Marrow, Fish and Chips, The Pasty, House Salad, Carpaccio, Scotch Egg, pictured here, are amongst my favorites. Go with friends, order a variety, share, and pair with one of their unique beers and cocktails for a truly great experience.
Amazing food, great service! Their draft list was respectable and the steak prepared perfectly. If you are looking for a low-key British pub with a flavor of Chicago eatery O&E is recommended!
This place definitely lived up to the hype. People kept telling me I needed to try the burger and they were absolutely right. The meat itself was delicious, it doesn't need a lot of other stuff on it to make it tasty. Our server was super nice and helpful, she recommended several other dishes that I'm going to have to come back to try now that I've finally tried the burger. They have a great list of beers on tap and in bottles as well.
I think this is the best burger in Chicago. I've been here about a dozen times in the last 3 years and every time is better than the last. Seriously the best burger in town. Also great atmosphere with a cozy outdoor rooftop. The beer list is not too shabby either. And catch a movie next door if you have time. Whether you are having a date night or flying solo O&E should always be on your short list of restaurants.
