How rudeee!!! I call today to find out what fish was on the menu aside from Tilapia because it was not displayed on there menu. I needed to know how much it would cost, if the store only excepts cash due to COVID. She wasss so rude she sound irritated. I am a customer I was getting ready to order a pick up when she told me she was to busy. First off I don’t live in the area and you to busy for me. I believe in supporting black owned businesses but it is hard. The arrogance and tone of the lady over the phone was so rude. You to busy to take a order over the phone in a time where all you can do is pick up. Promise after talking with her on the phone I no longer want to ever be a customer at your restaurant low class customer service.

Anytime I am craving Ghanaian food I visit Palace Gate. One of the most authentic tasting Ghanaian Restaurants in the United States. Although I like to try different foods, I pretty much stick to the Waakye each visit. Probably because it’s one of my favorite meals and I can’t always count on Palace Gate to get it right.

We had an awful experience at this place. From the time me and my friends went in there, the lady there did nothing but be rude to us. We were in Chicago visiting and wanted some African foods and this was the worse experience ever. The food was less than average. She acted as if she didn't want our business. We didn't feel welcome there whatsoever. The worst customer service ever and we will not recommend anyone going there. Don't have a business if you don't have any customer skills.

I love their fried turkey and yam dish. The portion size is generous and food is delicious.
