It's probably THE sketchiest stop that I've come across. And I've been all over! I've been down to 95th on the Red line, all the way down to Ashland/ 63rd on the Green, and through the west side on the Green, Blue, and Pink. But seriously, West Garfield Park is consistently in the top five for worst neighborhoods. I think it's been number one in some years. And it shows at this station. I remember just how dirty the station was compared to other stops. Even the Cicero Blue line was better. That's the bad side. The good side, well, it has service 24 hours/ day, 7 days/ week, 365 days/ year. Also, service is frequent. But just use caution and show the station some respect by throwing your trash away in the proper receptacles.

Horrible stop. Everyday it’s nasty and urine everywhere. I came past at 4pm and there is vomit on the platform. Come back at 7am the next morning. It’s still vomit there in the same spot.
I can get to were I have to go faster
Ppl hang out too much in front of blue line. Smells like pee.
Ugh! I can't stand Chicago! It's Just so Crime filled! This Station and this area are 0% Exception!
