I’ve loved this place since just out of University and made it a point to come during my visit back to Chicago. The experience was quite different this time around (due to the ongoing pandemic). That only effected part of the experience, as the food was still quite good - albeit if they had heaters outside it would’ve made the experience a bit warmer (pun intended). We called in advance to make sure they were open (as not every business updates their information online). It’s a good thing we called ahead as we found they were open for carry out orders only. Luckily I’m familiar with the area and thought we’d probably be able to find a nice place to sit outside as it wasn’t freezing cold out. When we arrived the food was almost ready and I asked if we could eat at the tables outside to which they said yes. I ordered the lamb shish-kabob lunch with dill rice. My boyfriend ordered the chicken lentil soup and the stuffed pepper with beef. One odd thing did occur...the person who gave me my order asked if I had cash. I told him I had a card - he replied he’d prefer cash. I replied that I still only had a card (which he accepted as the payment).

Was really impressed with this place! Very spacious seating, prompt staff, and excellent food! I was most impressed with the eggplant dish, and I would highly recommend it. I was also pleasantly surprised by the falafel, which I find most places overcook. I will absolutely be coming back here!

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our order. The olives smelled awful, the meat was overcooked and the bread was stale. The babba ganoush and hummus were good but overall I feel that it was a huge waste of money.

First time being here & the food was amazing!!!! Lamb was so delicious & tender. Everything we had was great, along with the service! Beautiful outdoor seating in such an awesome neighborhood. Ill be back!! Thank you guys
