Dr. Cohen values his patients as individuals. When you first meet him, he takes the time to get to know you as a person, not merely as a number. By the time that many patients come to the conclusion that they need to see one of the best (if not the very best) endocrinologists in the country, they are frustrated and Dr. Cohen tackles this reality head-on in a friendly and compassionate manner. All that I can really say is that a handful of other endo’s couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. Some dismissed my symptoms even though I barely had enough energy to make it through an easy day. Dr. Cohen empathetically examined my case and did solve it. I might have gone through the remainder of my life without a sliver of hope or what turned out to be a simple cure. All that you need to know when selecting a physician to treat you is that he will treat you with respect and that he won’t give up. Frankly, that’s what everyone needs in a doctor.
