Dr. Bowier is an amazing clinician. With her background in trauma, she really understands and knows how to connect with her clients in order to help them feel safe, empowered and capable of doing the work. She is passionate about the services that she provides and has a gift of being able to connect with her clients while also meeting them where they are. Dr. Bowier continuously stays abreast on the latest research and books in order to further her knowledge to best serve her clients. She is a tremendous asset to the mental health community.

I have met many psychologists in my life, and not many are like Deahdra. She dedicates so much of her life to her work. She has done so much work on trauma care and even completed a certification to be a trauma-informed yoga instructor! aside from being an incredibly diligent professional with utmost integrity, Deahdra is also a wonderful human with tremendous character. She helped me identity past trauma, and definitely help me decrease the shame and guilt I was carrying on something I wasn’t aware about prior to going to therapy. She used humor at times which helped with heavy moments and normalized my experience. She is down to earth and knows her stuff. I appreciated the help I got and I’m thankful for it.
