Food here was very good indeed but be careful dining in, they are known to add 17% tip to your total bill. Chicago tip in general in every restaurant is 15%, yes it’s not much but it’s considered cheating and lying if they are aware and charge more for their advantage. If you want fairness you can’t really reason with them since they have very bare minimal English. Because they know tip is added on, they try less hard and never filled our water cups. Lose a star because of that.

Great tasting food with lots of spices. However the cleanliness and waitress staffs need more improvement
Spicy Spirit is a traditional Chinese Restaurant with lots of spicy dishes to try such as : beef & noodles, tofu, eggplant, chicken wings, buttered peas and green beans, and a fluffy pancake. We ordered family style which came to 129 for 11 people. That's about 10 a person; definitely worth it!

Do not go there. It's not the neighbor's restaurant. Dumplings are very poor. I think they were frozen ... Avoid!!! Hot pot tasted like soap!
This is about the worst hot pot experience I have ever had. The food is of questionable quality; they come in a little paper tray; the staff kept on switching out the butane cartridge. If the food is actually good, I would probably say something nice about this restaurant; but the food taste awful and makes me not wanna eat anything ever again. Waste of money, waste of time. DO NOT GO HERE, DO NOT GO HERE, DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
Service was confusing, had three/four different people wait on us. However, everyone was very helpful. Food was decent and beer was cold.
