St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church is a landmark building on the North side of the City. Once a focal point of Greek immigrant life in Chicago, it's fallen on hard times as all the older parishioners have passed away or their families have moved away from the City. The Church is welcoming, but a good part of the service is still in Greek.

Was invited here for a wedding! Everything was set up beautifully. Nice area and great for any special event. Very clean washrooms and waitstaff very pleasant. Decent stage area and music. Food was set up close to bar so that was a plus .
