Step two has been a big help in my recovery. It’s a great location and a nice house. Errick is involved with your recovery, but not overbearing. He genuinely cares about your sobriety, if you listen to his suggestions. He has help guide me back onto the path when I might have been drifting. I can’t thank step two enough.

The leader of the program is 30 years sober and he has helped countless people get sober. He knows what he is doing and how to help you get sober (and keep you alive). Therefore there are rules. These rules like curfew, money management and mandatory AA/ NA/CA meeting attendance all help to keep you sober and alive. Those who have written negative reviews havent followed the rules. If the owner were to be lenient on rules, this program wouldnt work. Addicts without structure relapse, and potentially die. The phone calls are to make sure you are doing your chores, going to your meetings, and he is also checking in on you because he cares and wants you to get clean. When you enter the program, he is very clear that if you do not follow the rules you will be kicked out, without a refund. I was in the program for 11 months and I was able to beat a court case, move back in with my family, and I am almost 1 year sober. I have this program to thank. The routine and the structure along with AA and this wonderful group of suppotivte people have all contributed to my small success. I am so glad I found Step two through a google search in a desperste time. It saved my life.
Literally stole 800 from me. I paid for 1 month and he kicked me out after 2 days because I was late coming 15 minutes after curfew and i was still totally clean, haven't broken any rules before that. Errick runs a ghetto business disguised as a recovery community, all he cares about is money. He didn't care about me, he won't care about you.
kind people
