Went to this restaurant this evening to pick-up! Let metellyou!! Wow!! The Waaye was spicy but delicious! Huge portions on everything ordered! I also had the fufu and the palmnut soap which was divine! When I next visit Chicago I will be right there on their door ordering! Also the lady who brought the food out after taking my order was so nice! I definitely will be back!

My husband is Ghanaian and where we live there aren’t any African restaurants. We saw this restaurant featured on WGN news the other day so we wanted to try their food. Upon walking in there were two people ahead of us that had ordered their food. When the owner came to bring them their food she was very snippy answering their questions about which bag was which. After they paid the woman asked for another bag and the owner said with an attitude that she won’t give them another bag. She’d charge them for it. It wasn’t what she said it’s how she said it. It was more like an inconvenience to be servicing them. We didn’t stay we left so I can’t review the food. We won’t spend our money where there’s poor customer service.

This place is legit, big servings of everything, very quick service and priced very nicely. I got the Waakye, goat meat and peanut butter stew. This combination was very filling and was delicious. They gave me enough food for 3 people. This was the best Ghanaian food I've had in a very long time.

Ordered here on Ubereats today and I must say everything was so fresh, hot and delicious! I ordered Jollof Rice with Spinach & Egusi Stew, it was Spectacular! Along with the fufu! Great job ill definitely be back!

I ordered from uber eats. I ordered the oxtail brown stew, Plantains and fufu. Everything was still hot when it got to me and I live far. I only wish it was less rice and more oxtail. I will order again. Also be prepared for the spice it was delicious.
