This place is really neat — you can buy a single piece of leather here and they have a ton of options and it’s really high quality. They also sell beautiful leather products in the front. The staff knows their stuff and have been really helpful every time I have stopped by. And it’s in a unique Chicago location! Check it out!

All I can say is WOW! Look no further because this is the spot you've been searching for. I spoke with Jon and he was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful even though I've just recently decided to challenge myself with learning the leather-work craft. They have multiple sources of hides from the best shops around the globe (of course Horween is a focal point, because why not, they are fantastic and local). If you want to craft something in leather or suede they have the solution for you, from lighter weight upholstery options to heavier hides that stand tall when you need them too. It was also a treat to see such a great variety of Veg tanned leather with incredibly and vibrant pronounced colors along with the chrome tans you'd come to expect (even those were quite special). If you are considering making a trip I would say it is well worth it to check out the store and what they have to offer, I can't wait to go back! Friendly service and a passion for what they do shows at this place!
I'm fairly new into working with leather and it has been hard to find a place that sells quality leather, and consistent in the staining. I was able to make an appointment to visit during all of the requirements imposed by the city during covid. Laura and Jon were extremely helpful and answered all my questions and even explained processes used for tanning (depending on the leather). Will definitely be going back!
