Good place to have drinks! Really enjoyed their guava margarita and other members in my party really enjoyed the Aviation and Trinidad sour. I had the crawfish chowder which was bit too sweet for my liking but still enjoyable. Two members of my party had the restaurant week menu with the chicken lollipops and chicken entree with the cherry pie that they quite enjoyed. The two vegetarian members in our party had quite limited options and could only order the asparagus, mashed cauliflower and fries (appetizers). Nonetheless, they both really enjoyed the taste. Great service and they followed social distancing guidelines very well - the place has open outside seating! Thanks!

I and my 4 friends made a reservation to dine here this last Saturday 6:30 pm, the website says they close at 11pm, they accepted our reservation, we went there, everyone knows how downtown Chicago is with parking so we paid for parking just to walk down to this restaurant and they weren’t open, looks like they haven’t been open in a long time, we wasted our time and money for nothing, was a sad day for us. Stop misleading people y’all.

I have eaten a numerous restaurants in Chicago but this really is in a league of its own. The atmosphere is fantastical. There is the bar/jazz lounge with the dark wood paneling and 100 year old Steinway piano. Original paneling from the Chicago Pump Room. There is the "library" room for dining with original books and decor from the Chicago Newberry Library. This place is classy! The food is phenomenal whether you love fish or steaks. The best part of it all however is the level of service. Our waiter, "Chimmy", actual even sang to us. He has mastered the English language and once you hear him describe the entrees or specials you won't stop salivating. This restaurant is conveniently located near the Chicago Theater. I would highly recommend the Tortoise Supper Club to anyone that appreciates fine dining.

Great spot!! The indoor decor and atmosphere are awesome, but they also offer outdoor seating if you prefer. The food is delicious and the desserts are a must have. I highly recommend the shrimp scampi dip appetizer and the peanut butter pie for dessert. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend

Well. Done. One of the best service experiences I have had. I highly. Highly recommend the prime rib and cocktails. The staff is next level regardless of level. I suggest you give this place a serious look. Special occasions become more special. Not cheap so get ready for all that. Yummmmmmmmmmm. And then some.

The service was excellent and the room was cozy (kinda like a hip, dark, country club vibe). The NY strip I had was very good - I've had better at other places, but solid nonetheless - especially for the price. Overall my experience was very good and I have no complaints. It is definitely worth checking out.

Really jazzy place. Retro vibe. Attentive service. Party of six seated right on time. Everything was delicious but vegetarian options were seriously limited. Not my concern but a fellow diner only had one choice. Loved that they supported the Conquer Cancer Foundation. Well worth a visit especially with the piano man playing great tunes.
