I had a great experience with Michael and his team. Michael was communicative and knowledgeable about the latest and best sealants on the market. We had some wear on our 20-yr old red oak floors and took the opportunity get rid of the oil poly finish and go for a more natural looking water poly finish. I'm really happy with the results and highly recommend you contact Michael if your floors need a redo.
I used Unique Flooring for the hardwood flooring in my 1920's bungalow. The floor was in terrible shape prior to getting refinished. The previous homeowner used sticky tile on top of the hardwood, so the floor had adhesive on top. Additionally, there were many areas where the wood warped due to moisture from the radiators. The floor had many holes, spaces, and damage in general. Approximately 800 sq ft. We received multiple quotes and Unique Flooring was competitive. We ended up choosing Unique Flooring because of the other reviews, and they did not disappoint. The refinished floor was beautiful. Brought complete life back to the house. They were professional and direct. They were 10 minutes early every time we met and responsive to all my texts and concerns. After they finished the job, there was an area of concern. I texted Michael, and he was at my house the next day with the guys to fix the issue (which was caused by natural events). They take pride in their work and make sure that the job is finished proper. Would recommend to anyone.
