My doctor called ahead, told me I would be admitted. I was put in what I think was an “ambulance garage”, and left here for 4 hours and counting. I told a nurse I was dizzy and felt faint, she looked at me like I was crazy and walked away! I know once I’m in a room, I’ll be under excellent care, but this is the absolute worst ER on the planet! We are all headed like cattle, people coughing, wearing masks on their chins and no one in sight! It feels like the nurses are hiding. As far as seeing a doctor, LOL, I haven’t caught a glimpse of a single one!

An Optometrist told the family my daughter would be admitted to the University of Chicago to see a neurologist. On the instructions of my her doctor we were told to go to Adult ER. After NINE HOURS in the waiting area she finally made it to the back area where she slept on a bed in the HALLWAY for another SEVEN HOURS before getting an MRI then waiting another THREE hours plus in the HALLWAY to get admitted into the hospital. Over 19 HOURS of waiting to get to the room the doctor said she would end up. I wonder if we'll get a discount on the ER bill since she spent all her time in the lobby and hallway.

Early Christmas Eve, I thought I would be there forever. To my surprise I was quickly waited on. Also everyone was pleasant

Terrible service. Waited 5 hours to be attended to ultimately receive mediocre advice at the hands of a tired, sick, and annoyed ER doctor. The facility is quite unsanitary. If you are able to make it to a different medical urgent care center in the city, please do. You will receive only subpar treatment here; absolutely not worth the wait.
