Gets the job done efficiently. Fees are a part of doing business. Just because a business is working to help students and tutors doesn't mean they shouldn't be successful at being capable of earning a decent income. Think about the time tutors put in to be prepared; it's more than just a one hour session. It would be nice to pay the tutor only, but then where would the flexibility be in scheduling at any time of the day or night? If Wyzant abuses it's employees, purchasers, or provides a current outdated platform then yes, please speak up; I am interested in listening and pushing businesses like Wyzant to better themselves.

When I started my search for a reading tutor for my son, I didn't know which sites were creditable and which ones were scams (BEWARE OF THE SITES THAT ASK FOR MONEY UPFRONT OR CHARGE A CRAZY AMOUNT) Wyzant offers a lot of tutors with different prices. The results from my tutor are GREAT.
I've tutored 500 hours on this platform. I find great students and they're generally very happy with Wyzant. I think their site, tools, and responsiveness is good. I have to take a test to be qualified on their platform to teach the subject.
COMPANY CHARGES an exorbitant 10% additional profit , disguised as a service fee, on the actual cost , claiming \This service fee helps us vet all applications and offer services like US based support 7 days a week.\ This fee is on top of the premium tutoring charge.This is the normal cost of business and just exemplifies a poor business practice.
