Extremely nice people and very professional. Did a excellent job for my late grandmother's funeral and I am extremely grateful for all the great work that they done back in November 2011.

Tylunas funeral home is one of a kind. They go out of their way to help you and make loved ones feel appreciated. I would recommend them at your time of need

The service was fine, however Chris, the director, was condescending to myself. Posed all questions to my step father and would only accept most answers from him, even though he was clueless about most of my mother's wishes. I've also had an incredibly difficult time getting my mother's ashes because I live far away from Tylunas and they've been incredibly difficult to contact. I'm not sure if this has only been difficult for me, but I won't be recommending Tylunas to any of my family/friends. Edit: Chris has contacted my family asking me to rescind my poor review. I said nothing of the actual service, which was fine, it was the management that was the problem. I'm wondering if this funeral home has only great reviews because they ask all negative ones to be taken down.

While working with Tylunas Funeral Home it was as if I was working with family. They were so great, I could not have imagined a nicer group of people. There genuine concern for our family was so touching and they really truly cared for us and what we were going through.

I've had the experience of dealing with Tylunas Funeral Home twice in the last six years. First was the untimely passing of my older brother, and most recently was my mother's passing. These two dealings with Tylunas couldn't have been more different. Planning my brother's services and burial in 2010 felt more like a business transaction than one of the most significant events in my life. They offered mechanical gestures of sympathy at best, and then got right down to business. Fast forward to November of 2016 when I was faced with the emotional task of burying my mother and planning her farewell. Although Tylunas is around the corner from my home, I wasn't sure I wanted to use them again. But I heard they had changed hands, so I took a chance--and I'm so happy I did I had the pleasure of speaking with Matt Fantasia. From the first phone call, to meeting in person, Matt made me feel like I was family. He showed concern for my emotional state, and took charge of facilitating things so I could focus on properly grieving the loss of my mother. Anybody who's been through this knows what a whirlwind it can be and how easy it is to forget small (and sometimes even big) details, but Matt took the reins from the beginning. He was compassionate, patient, concerned, helpful, and thoughtful. He even called to see how I was doing a few days after we first spoke. I felt like I was dealing with an old friend rather than a corporation. Losing someone you love is the most emotional event a person can go through and Matt did everything he could to keep that experience human. Even when he had the opportunity to simply be the man in the suit, he chose to be the man with the heart. For that, I will always be grateful. Scott Krygowski
