Adorable lighthouse. I've seen a lot of people mention bugs, but we went on a beautiful sunshiny day in December and there were no bugs and few people! There is a very short quarter mile walk from the parking area, so just keep that in mind before you arrive.

I was so excited today to see this lighthouse. I have always wanted to visit Assateague Island National Park to see this beautiful lighthouse I have never seen it before so the thrill of something new was evident. Tony said I was as giddy as a school girl We parked the car and bundled up to hike the half mile trek to see the lighthouse. It was a simple trail with incline but it was so cold at 25 degrees but at least the sun was shining. The lighthouse was closed so we could not climb up this beautiful lighthouse but nestled in the pine trees she's a real beauty. Along our hike I saw several Holly Trees Great day just cold with the wind blowing

Cute and easy walk to see it. It’s a very nice lighthouse that will satisfy any lighthouse need. Nothing fancy but cute.

Great light, very cool history. Of course I am a light house lover. This one is inland more than many on the wet island area where access fees of 10 a day or 25 for a week or yearly pass I think was 45. Walk was 0.25 miles and bug spray was required today, very buggy after the remainder of hurricane Sally passed through and added to the standing water. I see they spray bugs daily to keep Bugs down. Closed due to Covid -19 gets 4 not 5 stars

September 2020. Easy little loop trail to the Lighthouse and back to the parking lot. It was a nice fall day for a walk, but have your mosquito repellent handy, cause them miserable bugs will attack you if you don't convince them otherwise. Lovely old lighthouse.

Nice historic lighthouse located on the southern end of Assateague Island. Very neat place, worth a stop on the way to the shore. It’s closed as the others have said, but it will reopen with time. Cheers.

Nice short loop to light house. Historic site. Toilet on site. Light house is closed at time for visit due to COVID-19.
