I recommend AIA for all those out there, not only because their prices are VERY ACCESSIBLE, also friendly staff and well maintained airplanes. I haven’t have any issues with my schedule, neither the planes. Recently I received an email where they clarified about the airplane’s log books, notifying us that all the airplanes have been checked by the FAA and everything checks just right. My instructor Erick is always on time, and very straight forward regarding what I need to do to improved my flying skills. I started flying with them about two months ago with no radio communications at all, and today was my first flight where I was able to handle the radio and fly at the same time, but my instructor has been very helpful.

Made the switch to AIA from another flight school that was milking me when it was time for my check ride. I had a two month pause in flying thanks to COVID. When I took my first flight in two months with a new flight instructor at AIA, my FI told me at the end of the flight it was time to schedule a check ride with a DPE! I did a few more flights with AIA's CFI just to go over everything and two weeks after switching to AIA I earned my Private Pilot! They could have easily taken me for a ride since I had some time off but I felt my CFI had my best interest in mind. I have now been happily flying out of AIA for over two months and building XC and PIC time. I have met most of the CFI's and everybody has lots of experience and specialties. Most of the CFI's here have 3x the experience of my last school. Lastly the rates here are phenomenal. I am now flying a DA40 with g1000 for a few dollars less per hour than most old 1970's era 172's other schools have. If you need to finish a rating in a 172 like me AIA has a nice one too! Scheduling is really nice too, as a student/renter you get a flight schedule pro account and easily check availability and schedule appointments. I really can't recommend AIA enough. I am not affiliated with them in any way, and no one asked me to write this review. I know my review might sound overly positive, but when you have had it bad you truly appreciate the good!

I have been in aviation for many years and been apart of many different Flight institutions. However, this one has played a major role in my career path as a Commercial Pilot. I've spent over a year working on one of my last major airmen certifications before I move forward to the airlines and the personnel here have been absolutely...\TOP FLIGHT\ Despite the obstacles during this process, there dedication to this industry can't be understated. I truly appreciate what they have done for me individually...as well as others. They greatly deserve the recognition for what they have done in the field of Aviation. There are many other great options out there. AIA Chino is a very inefficient place to learn to fly. The school's location on the airport makes it difficult to maximize flight time due to long taxis to the runway and a one way in/one way out taxiway that causes delays on the ramp. Fuel is provided by a company across the airport, which frequently increases delays. The old and derelict building is very cluttered and dirty, providing little room to receive a ground lesson. The DA-40 is a great training airplane and the employees are friendly, however the environment makes learning a challenge. Maybe try their smaller Riverside location or a different school altogether if you want to put your time to good use.

Honestly great flight school, makes you feel like home. They've accommodated me with fress flights. They take care of the issues immediately. They have in-house mechanics to take care of the issues. I'd definitely want people to come by and check it out.
