Family style where large plates of each dish are placed on the table and each person serves themselves. Food is delicious. This was my third visit and each time the service was great and the food delicious. Full service bar in restaurant too. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you part is 6 or more.

Amazing food! Delicious soups
Waitress made us feel like a burden. Was somehow clueless to the fact that we barely ate any of our meal and we're thoroughly not enjoying the food. My pan fried roughy was somehow burnt and undercooked, plus it was served to me on a pool of oil. My dinner partners vegetable medley was steaming hot and mine was like ice. It was also very obviously a packaged medley, something akin to like a green giant frozen steam in bag type of deal Her country fried steak was very tasty, to be fair. No we didn't complain but that was mainly because everything took so long we just wanted to eat the edible parts and leave. Sad, this place looked so good.

Amazing food. Love Lamb Day one of my favorite days to come. French onion soup, salad, bread blue cheese, lamb shanks and beans. The best!! Come for the Border Table lunch you will not be disappointed.

We love these Basque restaurants they are always good. We eat here as often as possible because it is an experience. You need a good 2 hours to enjoy the food because it just keeps coming. The lamb is most excellent however its prepared. The wine is reasonable and drink able. We had the wine in the carafe at the waitresses suggestion and it was wonderful with or without the food. This is old school, family owned, traditional, and simple. I wish we lived closer I would eat here twice a month at least.
Good is excellent. Bavk bar is open very cozy.
