I went in to ask if they sold violins. The store clerk was having a conversation with a friend and took a good 5 minutes to stop and wait on me. When I was finally able to ask if they had violins, he was extremely rude and dismissive, telling me no then turning around to do something else. His friend, however, was extremely polite and told me where I could go to find one.

Great place to shop! I have to totally disagree with the negative review from Caroline. The owners at Chuck's music are extremely helpful and friendly to everyone who comes in the store - whether it's to shop or just to browse.
One of the best musical instrument shops in Lexington, great people, great prices, and great help. They also have a great recording studio upstairs.
