Perfect all the way. Haven't been here in six years and I'm happy to say it's still the same consistent delicious place. El Coyote has been around forever. The reason? Because it's still a great place to eat, drink margaritas and enjoy so many Mexican dishes. We started off with a half pitcher of margaritas and ordered the queso which was excellent. Had the popular double pork chop meal that comes with a salad or side. If you don't want the salad you can have another side dish. Awesome. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. The barbecue sauce is Smokey deliciousness! To end we each had a homemade banana cream pie! Perfection
We went to El Coyote in Anderson Township Saturday night to celebrate my friends birthday. Although my husband and I have eaten at the establishment in the past and had a wonderful experience Saturday night was just the opposite. We originally had a reservation for 11 but ended up with only 9. We were able to all sit at 1 table which may have been the highlight of the evening. It started with our drink order, 2 of us cancelled our beer order and asked for a pitcher of Margaritas. When the drinks came out we had beer and a pitcher of Margaritas. When they showed up we told our server that we had cancelled the beer when we ordered the pitcher but the beers were already open so we let her leave them. My husband ordered another run of beer for the men (3), when the beers came she brought one for everyone. Once again 2 of those were cancelled the first order but still they came again. Next we ordered our appetizers and main courses. That wasn't too bad but my girlfriend that we were celebrating her birthday had order the ribeye dinner with lobster tail. We were all done eating before the lobster came out and then it was rubber. We were never asked about our checks so when we asked for them she brought them out and they were wrong and she added a 18% gratuity to each of our bills. On top of all this it was so hot in the restaurant that not only our table but the surrounding tables were complaining about the heat. Our experience was so bad that I'm not sure that any of us will be back. I spent over 200.00 and 2 of the other couples spent around 180.00.
