Service and atmosphere was excellent! Food was good. If love eating with live music this is the place. We had our dinner with a live jazz trio and really loved it. My wife and I shared a 5 course and ordered a bread basket, we were very full. The drink menu is pretty extensive so great for a nice romantic dinner.

Highly recommend this place! We were in Cincinnati for a couple of days and picked this place due to location. The host while we were there was very helpful and very informative of the area. We had breakfast the first day and it was very good. The hotel also has a restaurant and it is very nice. We did not have dinner because we already had places planned for dinner. We stayed in The Beach room and it is supposedly haunted. I can say I did not hear or see anything. The rooftop patio is very nice. The location is perfect for staying in the Over-the-Rhine area. Cincinnati Bell Connector runs right through the area and it was free while we were there. Parking garage was right down the street and included in stay. Final thoughts - we will stay here everytime we go to Cincinnati.
I just had the most AMAZING anniversary! Luka does it all! The venue (next to Music Hall), room, restaurant, parking garage... All spectacular. There was nothing left out! The garage even has chandeliers! There is also a courtyard and rooftop lounging area, but sadly, it was too cold for us to enjoy. We stayed in the Beethoven suite. My husband had coordinated to have flowers and champagne in the room. The arrangement was beautiful! The room was spotless. Seriously! Better than any chain hotel! We had dinner in the restaurant, then going out at the bar for the live music. The staff was incredibly accommodating and efficient. Breakfast in the restaurant was included.. I'm not usually a breakfast eater, but oh my goodness! It was delicious! Thanks again!
Great atmosphere. Food- I will give it a 7 out of a 10. I will definitely go back and stay a night at the hotel, and try something else off the menu. I had the 14oz steak with corn and potatoes.
First let me be clear this review is for the restaurant and not the hotel. My fiancé and I had dinner this past Saturday night. We were both looking forward to it because we thought we were going to have an amazing meal in a very cool place. Unfortunately the food was not good at all. I ordered the strip steak with compound butter, rosemary mashed potatoes and sweet corn, or so I thought. What I received was a strip steak half cut as if someone sent it back and they then gave it to me, the steak had Boulonnaise and NOT the compound butter I ordered and also only had broccoli which wasn’t even on the menu or description. I did not receive my rosemary potatoes or corn which is listed on the menu description. The steak had no flavor whatsoever, it was extremely bland as was the broccoli. My fiancé ordered the chicken parmigiana which was supposed to have a salad along with it which we were told would be extra even though the menu states it comes with either a house or Cesar salad. His meal also was very bland with no seasoning on the chicken. We were both incredibly disappointed in the experience. We did mention it to our waiter when he asked how it was and were met with “it’s not for everyone”. We would have liked to speak to the manager but that wasn’t offered. Sadly our experience there was not at all what we expected and to spend 114 before tip on what I could have made better myself was extremely disappointing
Honestly everything was way better than I had expected from the service to the food to the atmosphere to the bar everything. however I think what really sets the symphony apart from other hotels is the staff I haven't really been to too many other hotels anywhere that that has staff that are is willing to take care of you whatever it may be as they are here.
This place is a hidden gem! We came here for my birthday and we had a blast! The Mahler room was amazing, the restaurant was very romantic, the live jazz band was everything and the food was amazing! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for such an amazing experience!
We went here because they had music during Covid, and we wanted cocktails and maybe food. I should have stuck with the burger, but the server talked me into the cod. Oh well. Why cod of all fish as an entree?!?! I didn't care for the cocktail selection, but the wine we had was fine. It wasn't a terrible experience, but there are better options, especially at this price point. We won't be back, I'm sad to say.
