I highly recommend this terrific bookstore. I bought a first edition here that was reasonably priced and quickly shipped with great packing. Fabulous store! Amazing people!
Disappointed. Despite the description, this is not a bookstore for looking at books. Website did not make this clear at all. Only on the About section of the Google page did it ever mention the need to call in for appointments. Wasted my time and money on parking. Please make it obvious that the "store" is not open to the public before someone else gets disappointed

I recently visited Ted at First Edition Rare Books in Cinci. It was a great experience. The website is well done and gives you a great idea of what Ted has available. Upon my arrival he was able to pull everything I was looking for. (Everything from Winston Churchill to Eleanor Roosevelt) But most importantly, he was very upfront and knowledgeable about his product and was able to answer all of my questions. But just going through his library that he has there it is truly incredible the type of books and documents that he has in relation to specifically History and Government. The best part is if he doesn't have what you want, he is able to find it for you. If you find yourself in Cinci and are a fan of rare books, I highly recommend making an appointment with Ted at First Edition Rare Books.
