Awesome experience with Cook's! I was traveling across country when my transmission failed. AAA towed me to a transmission shop, and it turned out it would take a week and about 2,500 to fix it. Not having the time, and probably not worth the investment, I decided to scrap it, buy a new car, and move one. I googled scrap yards in the area near the transmission shop, and found Cook's with the highest rating, so decided to start there. They were immediately friendly, compassionate, helpful, and up-front honest. They told me they'd go over and take a look and call me back - which they did in short order. I stopped by their shop a bit later, they had a bill of sale written up and cash ready for me, and again they were wonderfully friendly and helpful. AND THEN, a few days later, I realized I'd left something in the vehicle - I called, and they said they'd find it, box it up, and ship it right out. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you, Cook's!!
