This teacher's behavior is unacceptable. I do not believe for a second that it was a mistake as the Superintendent said. The woman knew exactly what she was doing. If it was an accident, why not put the mic back?She would have to be deaf and blind to not see and hear the young man TALKING TO HER. She should not be allowed to return to her class without special ed and sensitivity training. The community and more importantly, the school should expect better from the teachers. Completely disgusted with this teacher's actions. The superintendent is a disgrace for not coming forth and reprimanding this woman. he is just another hack playing the politics game.

If I could award your school district zero stars, I would! You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves! After watching that horrible video of that inhumane deceitful wretched woman you have the audacity to call a \teacher\ rip that microphone away from Caleb, myself as well as the majority of our town is utterly shocked & disgusted. How dare you try to cover your own behinds claiming \it was a mistake\ when everyone can clearly see that putrid woman ripping the microphone away from Caleb & grinning ear to ear so proud of herself as she turns around facing the audience. That is certainly not a mistake! This was a malicious & planned event which was fully intended to embarrass this child in front of his peers and family. This is just sick. Hopefully your school board has a good attorney.
YUP!!! FOLLOWING SUITE!!!! Just saw a video of a teacher taking away a microphone when an autistic child steps up to say GOBBLE GOBBLE, as he's dressed as a turkey. When this teacher realized she brought this child to tears, she should've rectified her HORRENDOUS & HORRIBLE \mistake\ (that should've NEVER been made 2 begin with when it's CLEAR AS DAY that there was another child there 2 SPEAK!!!!!), by letting him participate!!!! IF SHE CAN'T FOLLOW LET EVERY CHILD PARTICIPATE & FEEL INCLUDED, SHE SHOULDN'T BE AN EDUCATOR!!!!!!!! SHAME ON HER & SHAME ON YOU, AS A SCHOOL DISTRICT, 4 ALLOWING HER 2 TREAT YOUR SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS LIKE THIS!!!!!!!
