After waiting for a couple of years I decided to have the robotic procedure, March 4, 2020. The process is very organized and little to no discomfort. They really make you feel comfortable and gave me a nice lunch :), my follow up appointment will be in a week. This review is for the procedure and I will be leaving another one in a year for the final results can’t wait. Thanks DR Markou and Your friendly staff.

I had several consultations at other offices. Was referred to Dr Markou by a friend and he was the only Dr who actually met with me and did the consultation. I felt very comfortable with that. He accurately explained all options. I proceeded with Robotic. Had my surgery about 6 months ago and starting to see the hair grow in. The staff is great. Family atmosphere! This really changed my life.

So, I am not one for writing reviews but thought Dr Markou deserved my input. I had my procedure a few years back (amazing life changing results) and recently went to see doc about having another procedure in an area that has started to thin recently. As with my first procedure, it was him who did the consultation, not a consultant (he did have a medical resident with him since he teaches as well). I asked about the Robot procedure. However, he guided me to stay with a strip since I already have a linear scar. However, with that being said, the area that I started to thin was not yet thin enough to transplant without causing more damage. I chose to go with treatments that include low level laser and PRP. Dr Markou was in the past and remains honest about what can be done and what cannot be done. If you are considering having hair transplants, you owe it to yourself to visit Doc. And, I feel very secure that he has had over 25 years or so experience here in Clearwater.

Chose him not only because of having the most experience by far in the Tampa Bay area but also because of the personal attention he gave me during the consultation (no pushy sales people to deal with). Now about 9 months out from having Robotic transplant. Very happy with my results. He exceeded my expectations. His staff also has years of experience and is friendly. Made me feel like family.
