Could not be happier with this experience! Outstanding quality and service. I had a full suit altered and was more than pleased with the result!
Would give a zero if possible. Found them to be extremely rude and very dismissive!! Took a prom dress for alterations. She would not listen to me on that visit because she was the “expert” and I did not know what I was talking about. Even though I explained that we had alterations done on a very similar dress last year. Did not have a good feeling but they had been highly recommended by Hip Chics Formal so I trusted their judgement as I assumed they had worked with them many times and knew the quality of their work. Upon returning to pick up the dress I knew as soon as I unzipped the bag something was wrong. Not even sure what they did, but looked much worse than when we took it with lots of puckers where there had been none before and should not be any!! They tried to tell me they didn’t do anything to it in that area. ( but found out that was not true when it was taken apart) When I tried to discuss my concerns she pretty much told me not to talk to her and she would just talk to my daughter. I reminded her I was the one paying but that did not do any good. She actually told me if I didn’t stop talking about how bad it looked I was going to make my daughter feel bad and she wouldn’t want to wear it and that it really didn’t matter what I thought. I paid and left. Took to a local seamstress and she was SHOCKED at the quality of work that was done and HOW it was done!! She had to take the entire top of the dress completely apart snd put it back together the way it was originally and then do the alterations from that point!!! What had been done could not just be “fixed”!! Luckily she is AMAZING and it is being done the way it should have been in the beginning!! I would just say “beware”. Listen to your gut as I wish I would have done!! Would never recommend this establishment to anyone! This is the first review I have ever written but could not let this one pass by.

Homestyle Draperies and Alterations altered my wedding dress and did an incredible job!! My dress has 12 layers including the top layer of lace, the dress was perfect! She went so far as to cut off the bottom of the dress (which was made of beautiful lace detailing) shorten the dress and then reattach the lace with clear thread. It was an incredible and comfortable experience! I highly recomme nd her for any of your alteration needs.
