Such a unique place, I've never been anywhere like it! The forest giants are amazing pieces of art and definitely worth checking out. One warning is that this place is HUGE! I think it would be hard to see everything even in a couple of days, this place is a hiking lovers dream. I just wish I would've had more time to explore this wonderful place. Also know that this place is super popular and there was plenty of visitors there when I visited. It was still a great experience though and this is a place I'd definitely go back to.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Especially because I could bring my dogs. It's enormous and there are so many places to walk and so many different trails I wish my dogs were younger do we could have walked a little more. If you're worried about being close to people during covid, you don't have to be-there is so much space to move around, even near the Giants. Speaking of the Giants they are fantastic! They are not within walking distance of each other and they are almost on the way out of the park so you may have to repark to see them. It's a place to spend a whole day, bring a lunch or food since the visitor center is closed. It is such a beautiful place!

I went here blindly. That is to say, I agreed to go somewhere near Louisville to have a little outdoorsy get-together with my girlfriend's family. I had received a camera in the mail the day before, and decided it might be a good photo-op because of the mid-October Autumn leaf color change. I had no idea how right I was. We arrive. Park. Meet. Then start our journey. I was absolutely blown away, delightfully surprised, and thoroughly consumed throughout our hike to try and capture as much of the beautiful scenery that I could. Three hours later I had several amazing photographs. I highly recommend.

This arboretum is so huge! You can spend the whole day wandering around. The tree canopy walk and fire tower are closed and there is construction in the park, but overall it's really beautiful!!! The three giants are funny and conveniently placed around the park. Don't miss the edible garden as well. All staff is very kind and welcoming. Reservation online is encouraged but it's very simple and quick so you can do it just before entering the park.

A really quite and beautiful park. Wish it was not raining or we could have explored more.
