Where can I find a hypoallergenic kitten because my boyfriend and I want to be able to have kittens around him but he's allergic to non-hypoallergenic cats and we want to be able to have one when we get our own place once we turn 18 years old and move out of our parents places

The APL is the most magical, wonderful place full of good humans to help you find the perfect companion. We were so lucky to find our six year old baby there. Adopt, don't shop. And adopt the middle age or older pets. They're still so full of love.

Filled out an online application on Thursday night to adopt a cat and got a call Friday afternoon that we could come in Saturday to meet the cat. You have to make an appointment and they do a great job with social distancing. The women who helped us was so nice and answered all the questions we had. She let us meet several different kitties till we found the one we loved! Fast and easy experience

Ok so 8 month ago I walked into this place and found the love of my life (I'm sorry to the lady that was petting him when we came back to his cage to take him!). Staff were very helpful in answering all the weird questions I had and providing all of the history they had on him. The process was easy but not rushed and even after several trips to this shelter and dozens of questions, they made me feel confident in my decision to bring a pet into my home. He's been such a blessing during this stressful time! Scarface says hi! He likes being held and cradled. He's never going back to a shelter in his lifetime!
