Professional and friendly staff headed by Register of Deeds Betsy Garbage. Office has been busy with individuals recording documents. In 2013 Towery Maurice Burris received a multi billion Trust involving 100s of Cleveland County properties acquiring First National Bank at 106 S. Lafayette St Shelby NC. County Commissioners & Register Deeds Harnage provided advice & staff to aid in the signing of 100s of property records. Cleveland County Sheriff Alan Norman notified of 100 parcel ledger property records being obtained and signed. Alert recording & tax office of individuals attempting to record documents withhold property records causing issues with delinquent taxes.
