I'm re-posting a review as I see my original review from years ago was removed, but continues to be relevant. Fine Points is a cozy space with an interesting selection. However, the moment I entered the space an employee followed me around, asking me aggressively over and over again if I needed assistance. Anywhere I went, she was a step behind. I was very uncomfortable, and I believe I experienced this because I'm African American, despite the fact that I had previously visited and made purchases from this shop. I get it, no shop wants to be accused of racially profiling customers, so that's probably why the review was removed. But since people who don't fit the traditional narrative of who visits stores like this might be looking to patronize this business, I'll repeat my story once again. I'm a professional, educated black person who went to this store to make a purchase, and I was treated like a potential shoplifter. I haven't been to this store since, nor do I patronize them when they have booths at events or participate in online markets.

Excellent consultation with artists - each with their own specialty. Some are great with color combinations others with knitting or crochet techniques. Fun, beautiful shop. Plus, the boutique upstairs is icing on the cake.

Best knitting selection I've seen. The yarn is unique and beautiful. Liz and her staff are welcoming and knowledgeable! They will help with any knitting questions/ problems u have with your project. The boutique has very unique clothing and amazing jewelry. I love to shop at Fine Points!!
