WATCH YOUR CHARGE ACCOUNT - Unauthorized 26 Charge Showed Up. Will never use this company again. I rented a pontoon on 9/6/20. It had 1/3 tank of gas. The guy said they ran out of gas & couldn't fill it, but said there would be enough for me to go out & back. He said someone went to get more gas & hadn't come back yet. He said not to worry - that I wouldn't have to pay for it. The next night I noticed there was a 26 charge with no explanation what it's for. I called first thing Tues. morning & the phone said they were closed till next summer. I immediately emailed them and never got a response. I've been disputing with credit card co for 2 months now. Update - On 11.1.20, I resent you my original email from 9/7/20. The day of rental I was told I \don't worry about being charged for the gas\ because it was about 1/3 tank. How can you 'guess' how much gas I've used and charge me by a guess? I was also never told what the charge was. I just got an email from you saying I was charged. I don't want to post my personal email on here.

Great family day on the water thanks to Great Lakes Watersports! Our family had an excellent experience over Memorial Day Weekend . We rented a boat for 2.5 hours for our family of eight. The young kids that work the docks were super friendly and helpful. They got our group prepared and out on the water in a hurry so we didn't miss out on our rental time. We didn't have any issues with the large crowd waiting for kayaks and boats because the staff was moving things along so quickly we didn't have to wait. The boat was clean and ran well- no issues. The size of the boat accommodated our group of of eight. We will definitely rent again ! So much fun!
This was an AMAZING experience and I would definitely do it again. My review is late as hell, but better late than never and this place deserves its props. From the initial point of contact everything was very seamless and inviting. This rental service is run by family and for family, they made my friends and I all very open to the boating experience. We were rained out on the lake on our first outing but when we pulled into dock and it finally stopped raining, the owner let us enjoy our remainder of our time dock side and relaxing. The whole experience was a 10/10 and I’ll definitely be looking to rent again next summer season. A perfect escape during our times of “pandemic” when it’s not a time for new friends and interactions but sharing moments closest to the ones you already know.
We’ve rented pontoon boats here 3 times and it has always been incredible! The staff is super friendly and quick to respond to emails, and the boats are great! The only issue we’ve had is that boats before us consistently come in 10-15 minutes late so we leave much later then our scheduled time, but are still expected to come back on time cutting our reservation short despite paying for the full amount of time - I would expect them to allow us to stay out for the full amount of time that we paid for based on when we leave the dock, since the other boats being late is out of our control. Other then that, everything was perfect and we can’t wait to come again!
We just returned from a wonderful kayak trip with your company. Took a 1.5 half hour journey down the river to the Terminal Tower, then back up and out onto the lake, just to say we did. Everyone on your staff was courteous and efficient. We especially liked the gentleman who was handing out the life preservers. It was my wife's birthday, and he went out of his way to wish her a happy birthday several times. What a great way to spend the afternoon. Thank you.
