Very helpful crew & installation was available if you cannot do it on your own for 25 extra. Used battery prices is 50 and the new batteries was a good price too 85 - 115. Glad I found this place.

Really great experiences with Interstate batteries. The guys there are friendly and fun ... and answer questions over the phone with patience and respect. As a woman, I appreciate that. Plus the prices are the best in town. Recently I had the battery die on my Mercedes and they had in stock (available for immediate pickup) both a flooded lead acid and an AGM battery to fit my car. I went with the basic lead acid because it came with a better warranty for the price. An hour after installing the new, I returned with my dead battery to get my 15 core deposit back. They gave that to me in cash, which was convenient and fast. The location of this place is in a rather sketchy-looking section of Tremont, but there's lots of traffic in and out of the little storefront — so felt totally safe. Thank you Interstate!
Although Google has this labeled as Interstate Batterries, the name of the business is Kirk Batteries. This is the only place I deal with for my car battery needs, polite, and very cheap. Can buy a battery new or reconditioned..new comes with a 5 year warranty, reconditioned has a 1 year warranty.
Top-notch service and support! Tom helped me pick out the correct battery for a car that wouldn't start. He then offered advice about other potential problems with the car which helped me solve the problem. Will be returning here for all my future battery needs.
