If you are imagining a relaxed, rustic-industrial style for your wedding, Lake Affect Studios is the place for you! This venue is the most beautiful blank canvas that you could imagine. Our goal was to have both the ceremony and reception at the same venue and Lake Affect Studios had exactly that. The industrial warehouse space had more than enough room to support our ceremony including a large bridal party and 150 guests. We utilized their main space for our reception, that included a built-in bar, mood lighting, and a stage which helped to create the romantic and chill atmosphere that we were going for. The space had the ability to feel intimate without being claustrophobic. Our guests had ample room to move about, either hanging at the bar, dancing on the dance floor, or hanging in the back playing games. The private bridal suite made it easy to take a step away or have a celebratory moment with our bridal party. The venue staff did not go unnoticed and went above and beyond to help make our wedding day a success. Finally, a big shout out to Stephanie who worked with us to make sure we had a layout that would work for their venue and a timeframe that fit the night. She supported us in our bar decisions and even allowed us to take pictures on the roof. She was an excellent resource and supporter for our non-traditional wedding.

Everyone knows this has been a tough year to plan a wedding, but Lake Affect Studios lightened that stress A TON. Throughout all my indecision and back and forth on moving the wedding or downsizing or cancelling (we ended up downsizing to about 40 people), the team at Lake Affect was so understanding and accommodating and did not pressure us one bit. HUGE thanks to Stefanie, who was a joy to work with throughout the experience. Pandemic aside, the venue is gorgeous and really fit the cool downtown Cleveland vibe I wanted. The décor options are very flexible, and we had so much time the day before our wedding to set up and get everything just right. The courtyard space is adorable and a fun bonus space for cocktail hour or just mingling about. Lake Affect supported all our crazy ideas, from a bagpiper in the courtyard to bringing in a life-size fiberglass rhino. From the staff to the space itself, Lake Affect Studios truly helped make our reception wonderful.

My clients Cait & Zac had their ceremony and reception at Lake Affect and it went off without a hitch. The ceremony space was ample and has a very cool industrial vibe to it. The bistro lighting in there is amazing. The reception space was perfect for dancing the night away. The staff was so helpful and readily available to help. I cannot speak highly enough of Lake Affect Studios. We chose to hold our wedding ceremony and reception here and they made our day truly special. The space had everything we were looking for in terms of location and atmosphere, and the service was unrivaled. Our wedding coordinators (Stefanie and Amanda) were amazing and went above and beyond for my husband and I. They anticipated our needs and made us feel like we were always a priority. I will absolutely use this venue for future events!

Lake Effect Studios is a beautiful venue. We had our reception there only, but they have a separate room where the ceremony can be held. They have LED lights that can turn many different colors to match your theme. The event coordinator, Stefanie, is a great communicator who is knowledgable and experienced and really helps ease the stress of preparing for a wedding. They have a nice outdoor patio which is available if the weather is nice. Fortunately we had great weather for our wedding.
