First time here. Ordered a full slab of baby back ribs, BBQ sauce, mac and cheese and the bourbon beans all to go. Mac and cheese was pretty much bland and flavorless with a mushy consistency. The beans were flavorful but mushy. The ribs were smoky but they were more like very fatty western ribs. Not tender at all - very chewy and dry and crispy on the outside. The BBQ sauce like the ribs were totally lacking in flavor. I had high hopes for a great meal but wound up totally disappointed. It was a waste of money. 42.00 --- I could have had tastier food at McDonald's for far less. Not going back.

First time here and we will be back. Great neighborhood lots of place near by. Small intimate dining with full bar. Food was great prices even better. Staff were friendly. I had fried fish, mac and greens delicious, mac was ok we did get peach cobbler we didnt eat it. Was soggy and didnt really have a taste but all in all definitely will recommend.
The food is always great! I love the alligator bites, fish sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches. It's also black owned if you're trying to support small black owned businesses.
Food what phenomenal and the bar service was excellent. Glad we made the random decision to stop by here. They could definitely afford to hire another waiter/waitress but theya also haven't been open long.
DO NOT ORDER. Complete rip off! When I was reading the reviews I thought maybe they were being dramatic. NO! Paid 30 for a kids meal portion. The worst part was the food was average. Never again. UPDATE: went to Mr. Chicken and got the same exact meal for 7. Even tasted better. This place is a rip off.
