I will NEVER go to John Deere in Clinton, Mo ever again. They quoted 931 for wiring harness, starter and starter solenoid. Plus 110 to look over my John Deere mower totell me that those three things were bad. We did not have them work on it. Went and picked it up. Took it to a friend who is a mechanic and all he had to do was change one wire and turn the solenoid around. It cost me 100 instead over 900.
Stopped in Friday morning on the way out of town around 9:45 am to look at a used mower I saw posted the day before on Facebook, which apparently resulted in over 35 messages according to the Salesman in the first office who couldn't pull himself away from his phone long enough to greet us or say hi. I Asked for help at the parts counter since \Mr I cant figure out my cell phone\ didn't want to talk and after several minutes he said the other salesman was in service with a customer and would be up in a few. After several more minutes he arrived only to say both the used mowers are sold. I told him I sent a message last night stating I would be by this morning to look he said sorry they sold this morning. I've been in Commercial Truck Sales for 25 years I've never seen a sales staff is HORRIBLE! They didn't ask my name get my number see if they could offer a different mower or perhaps direct me to one of their other locations, it appears Heritage has several locations. As competitive of a world we live in today when someone takes the time to stop to your facility the very least you can do is welcome them and thank them for stopping by. NOPE not at this place. NOPE wont every being buying a mower from Heritage.
